1 - Minors (under 18) must have a signed release by parent or legal gaurdian to participate in any practice or racing (attach form)
2 - Helmets required at all times
3 - No racing outside designated track area
4 - Drinking alcohol and riding is strictly prohibited
5 - Obey all flaggers/security (they are there for your safety and help)
YELLOW FLAG = caution slow down/rider down up ahead
RED FLAG = exit track/track closed
GREEN FLAG = track open
6 - Absolutely no fighting
7 - HAVE FUN AT ALL TIMES
TRANSPONDER SCORING
We are utilizing transponders for scoring this year! This is very exciting for both our staff and our participants. There are many benefits to doing this (ie. lap times posted, different race formats, new options for trophies, results posted immediately following races/motos, trophies out to the racers much earlier). The scoring will also be interactive with a site that will allow racers/parents to look at current or past races for lap times, finishing position, season points standings, etc... This will be viewable on www.mylaps.com.
As excited as we are for this new system, it comes with a price. Unfortunately we will need to raise our initial race entry to $35 (previously $25) to cover the cost of this scoring system. Any additional classes will still be only $10.
The participants will also be asked to provide a credit card in exchange for the transponder. The credit card will only be physically held in our scoring trailer until the transponder is returned. There will be no debit or authorization placed on the card unless the transponder is not returned. We ask you to provide a cellphone # and will send out a text message to all riders near the end of the event reminding you to turn them back in. If for some crazy reason you should forget to turn the transponder in, you then would be charged a $250 fee.
This is a system being used all throughout the industry all the way up to the AMA Supercross level.
